Proper posture is the key to strength and health.
Here is a great video put up by Matt Whitehead at Portland Egoscue. It explores why posture should be the core idea behind strength and longterm health. It is by Kathleen Porter who also does great work on the issue of posture. It is about 7 or 8 minutes long.

Here is a great interview on the basic features of the Egoscue Method as told by Dave at the San Francisco Egoscue clinic.  He talks about how Pete Egoscue got started and healed his own body leading to the discovery of the method. He describes typical cases that he sees in his clinic and the process of resolving any kind of musculoskeletal problems. Have a look. It is about 14 minutes in length.

I just came across a brief but interesting discussion from two women for PTs who now have a practice using the Egoscue Method in Virginia. They talk about the journey they took from having an active Physical Therapy practice to an Egoscue Method practice, what prompted their journey and the difference it has made in how they work with chronic pain conditions.
