Well I am on the march catching up on some info I have come across and want to draw attention to. In this post is a list of the many negative effects on health excessive sugar can have. This list is taken from the Julia Ross website of which I highly recommend. A few years ago I attended a seminar on a sports massage technique and the presenter was a guy with diabetes who had done extensive research on the effects of processed sugars on the body. One point he made is that it depleted potassium and messed with the potassium pump mechanism at work in the muscle cells. One effect he said was spasm and heightened sense of pain in the body as a whole. That caught my interest. Since then I have repeatedly come across similar information.
